Four Rivers Behavioral Health is a private, not-for-profit agency providing comprehensive, integrated mental health, substance abuse and developmental disability services to promote the health and quality of life for consumers in Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Livingston, Marshall, and McCracken counties. Lamonica Brown

LaMonica follows the Person-Centered Therapy approach adopted by Four Rivers Behavioral Health ensuring the client is at the center of treatment. She infuses Play Therapy, Behavior Modification, Self-Management and Artistic/Creative Therapy Interventions into practice.
 
Throughout her career, LaMonica has worked with children, adolescents, and young adults in various settings including Group Homes, School Based Outpatient Clinics, and the Kentucky Drug Court Program. She is especially interested in working with Neuro-developmental Disorders and trained to work with Trauma/Traumatic Grief. She also does Involuntary evaluations for the region as a Qualified Mental Health Professional.
 
LaMonica attended Murray State University for Undergraduate studies. At Western Kentucky University, she earned her Certification in Leadership Dynamics and a Master of Social Work in the Advanced Placement program. While attending WKU, she interned in a Community Sexual Assault Center. Additionally, she has worked with Vietnam Veterans and survivors of Military Sexual Trauma at the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
